4 months prior to starting CrossFit Texas, I weighed 149 lbs. I was running 3 days a week, but had a hard time losing weight after my 4thbaby. I was determined to lose it and do something for myself once my daughter started pre-school. I lost about 15 lbs on my own but was not fully satisfied. My body was not toned, and I wanted more.
I started CrossFit on January 8th and only intended on participating in the once a week Saturday bootcamps for one month to help with my running. Well, needless to say, I GOT HOOKED, and I got HOOKED really fast. I wore a size 8 and my clothes started to fall off of me. I also stepped up my running and moved up my 1st half marathon 6 months sooner than I had planned with plans to run my first full marathon soon.
I have absolutely no plans to stop CrossFit! It has changed me in so many ways physically and mentally. I’m a much happier person. I’m definitely not stopping at a full marathon, and will not rule out a triathlon in my future as well.
